Check Valves
SUN’s check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from port 1 (inlet) to port 2 (outlet) and block flow in the opposite direction.
NOTE: Standard port designations for two port check valves include both port 1 and port 2 for free flow inlet. For two port flow controls, port 1 modulates inlet flow to port 2 outlet flow with or without a reverse free flow check.
The preferred check valve blocks flow from port 2 to port 1.
Simple Check Valves – CX*A
SUN’s check valves operate over a wide flow range (20 to 160 GPM) and provide free flow from port 1 (inlet) to port 2 (outlet) and block flow when flow direction is reversed (port 2 to port 1). Performance parameters optimized in SUN’s simple check valves include:
• Low pressure drop relative to physical size.
• Low leakage when closed (less than 1 drop/min.)
• Six different spring opening ranges.
