Brass Case, Liquid Filled Copy
Brass case liquid-filled gauges are used in applications
where moderate corrosion resistance, vibration dampening, and
cost-effectiveness are important.
The brass case offers sufficient protection for
general-purpose environments, such as air, water, and non-corrosive fluid
systems. It is durable and affordable, making it ideal for lower-pressure
applications where harsh chemicals or extreme conditions are not present.
The liquid filling—typically glycerin or silicone—helps to dampen
needle vibration, improve reading stability, and protect internal components
from wear caused by pulsation or mechanical shock. This extends the life of the
gauge, especially in systems with pumps, compressors, or fluctuating pressures.
These gauges are commonly used in HVAC, water systems, air
compressors, and industrial machinery where economical pressure monitoring with
moderate durability and improved readability under vibration is needed.
