EK Two Pass Water Cooled Air Coolers

High oil reservoir temperatures can cause hydraulic fluids to break down, shortening the life of the oil, causing valves to stick and premature component failure. By use of a water cooled heat exchanger, stable reservoir temperatures can be maintained. Copper tubes/aluminum fin cooling coils. Removable end caps for easy tube cleaning. Mounting bracket designed for 90 degree rotation. Maximum shell side pressure: 500 PSI Maximum tube side pressure: 150 PSI Maximum temperature: 250 F

APPLICATION: These modulating valves regulate the flow of water to the heat exchanger to maintain a desired exiting oil temperature. They open automatically as the result of a temperature increase at the sensing bulb. No external power source is required to actuate the valve. Not to be used for salt water service. *For additional protection of the bulb well stem, use the next longer bulb well.
