NON-STANDARD INTERCHANGE COUPLERS Throughout the years of coupling manufacture, various designs have been marketed. Some were initiated for industrial use, others catered to the automotive aftermarket and others accompanied air tools. Most of these designs found their way into the industrial market. The lack of interchangeability between these designs led to an acceptance of a standard industrial design generally known as the industrial interchange. Foster, in addition to the industrial interchange, manufactures couplers which interchange with Lincoln Long Nose, Schrader Standard and Heavy Duty, Hansen 2RL & 3RL, Hansen Series 600 & 700, ARO 210 & 310, and Parker (Tru-Flate) Series 10-1/4”, 3/8” & 1/2”.
