Pressure Filters
Pressure filters
are used in hydraulic systems to protect sensitive downstream components (like
servo/proportional valves, actuators, or measuring instruments) from
contamination.
- Protect high-value components – installed
after the pump, they catch fine particles before fluid reaches precision
parts.
- Handle high pressure – designed to operate in
the system’s working pressure range (often up to thousands of psi).
- Maintain reliability – prevent sticking, wear,
or failure of sensitive valves and actuators.
- Support fine filtration – can use very low
micron ratings (e.g., 3–10 µm) to achieve high cleanliness levels.
- Essential for servo/proportional systems –
these demand ultra-clean fluid for precise control.
