All Stainless Steel, Dry & Liquid Filled
Stainless steel gauges are used
in demanding environments where corrosion resistance, durability, and
reliability are critical. The all-stainless steel construction protects the
gauge from harsh chemicals, moisture, and extreme temperatures, making these
gauges ideal for industries like chemical processing, food and beverage,
pharmaceuticals, marine, and offshore applications.
Dry stainless steel gauges are suited for stable
environments with minimal vibration or pulsation, providing clear, accurate
readings without the damping effect of liquid. They are easier to maintain and
typically more cost-effective than liquid-filled versions.
Liquid-filled stainless steel gauges contain a fluid
(usually glycerin or silicone) that dampens needle vibration caused by
pulsation or mechanical shock. This improves reading stability and extends the
life of internal components, making them well-suited for high-vibration or
pulsating systems such as pumps, compressors, and heavy machinery.
