Process Style, Dry & Liquid Filled Copy
Process style gauges, available in both dry and liquid-filled
versions, are designed for use in demanding industrial and process environments
where accurate, reliable pressure measurement is essential.
These gauges typically feature robust construction, often
with stainless steel internals and cases, and are available in various pressure
ranges and configurations (such as bottom or back mount, panel mount, or flange
styles). Their design supports chemical compatibility, corrosion resistance,
and long-term stability, making them well-suited for industries like oil &
gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and food manufacturing.
- Dry
process gauges are ideal for clean, vibration-free environments where
pulsation is minimal. They provide accurate readings, are easy to read,
and are cost-effective for stable systems.
- Liquid-filled
process gauges are used in high-vibration or pulsating systems. The fluid
(usually glycerin or silicone) dampens pointer movement, protects the
internal mechanism, and extends the gauge's service life. This makes them
ideal for pumps, compressors, and other dynamic process conditions.
