Flow Control & Needle Valves
Needle valves are used to precisely control the flow rate of fluids in a hydraulic or pneumatic system. Their fine-threaded stem and narrow tapered point allow for gradual adjustments, making them ideal for applications requiring accurate regulation rather than full open/close control.
They are commonly used to set flow rates in metering applications, dampen pressure spikes or pulsations, and control actuator speeds by adjusting flow in and out of cylinders or motors. Needle valves also serve as shut-off valves in low-flow circuits and are often found in test equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory systems where precision is essential.
